Real Madrid Vs Barcelona match has been waited for so long as most of viewer want to see what will exactly Ronaldo do, and other want to see what will actually Messi do...
Barcelona and Real Madrid locks horns at the Nou Camp on Sunday night in a simply mammoth El Clasico match. The riveting race for the La Liga title has been an engrossing affair this season, and it's Barcalona who currently lead Real by just a single point following a stupendous run of form. The Catalan club can extend that advantage to four points this weekend, however a win for Los Blancos will leapfrog them above their fierce rivals.
We should all remember this:
- Barcelona have won 17 of their last 18 matches in all competitions.
- No player has scored more El Clasico goals than Lionel Messi (21)
- Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in six of his last seven visits to the Nou Camp
Real's recent form may be patchy - one win in four games - but they can draw confidence from winning the last two El Clasicos: 2-1 in the final of the 2013/14 Copa del Rey, and 3-1 in this season's return league fixture.
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says each side have an equal chance of winning Sunday's Clasico against title rivals Real Madrid.
The Catalan club are one point clear of Real at the top of La Liga.
"The form book goes out of the window for the Clasico," Pique said.
"Each side has a 50% chance of winning. They have Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, two players that are very powerful, very fast, very dangerous in one-on-ones and who score goals."
Real Madrid have won the last two Clasicos, and could make it three in a row for the first time since 1978.
However, Barcelona have not lost at home to their rivals while topping the league since 1929-30.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has scored 17 La Liga goals in 2015, more than Real Madrid front trio Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo combined. They have scored five each.
Pique continued: "This is one of the most special games of the year, because of the rivalry between us and because we're usually playing for titles against them. They're another great team, with great players and that makes it so much more special."
Barca have won nine of their last 10 La Liga games and Pique said: "You feel stronger and more confident on the back of a run like the one we've been having.
"Winning the Clasico would be a very important step forward. There are 10 games left and it's very tight between us."
Real Madrid striker Benzema said: "We know there's a lot of pressure, but that's normal because it's a huge match.
"Every player who loves football wants to play in it. If we defend well we can do it.
"We can repeat the result from the first half of the season [ a 3-1 win ]. We're in good shape to win and put in a performance like the one we put in. We're Real Madrid.
"To score again like I did in our first meeting of the season, I need a bit of luck and nothing else."
