REAL MADRID have reignited their interest in Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling.
However, the La Liga giants never made a move for the England international and he ended up staying at Anfield.
But according to reports, that's about to change.
Numerous sources in Spain claim Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is preparing a stunning £50m bid to sign the pacy winger, who has attracted interest from the Reds' Premier League rivals Chelsea.
If Real do make a move for Sterling, they will face a difficult task to lure the forward to the Bernabeu.
In a recent interview, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers revealed Sterling was on the verge of signing a huge new deal at Anfield.“Numerous sources in Spain Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is preparing a stunning £50m bid to sign the pacy winger”
He said: "It is something the club are speaking with his representatives on and I would think that would be concluded very imminently.
"The player is very happy.
"It [the delay] is nothing to do with Raheem, he wants to be here so hopefully we get the solution on that very soon.
