GOAL! What a start for Barcelona! The hosts win the ball back on the edge of their own penalty area, with Busquets then sending a lovely through-ball into the path of Messi. The Argentine darts towards the edge of the Valencia box before teeing up Suarez, who calmly slots his shot past the outstretched hands of Alves and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.

        GOAL! Out of nowehere, Messi wraps up all three points with a late strike! Neymar picks up the ball midway inside the Barcelona half of the pitch and quickly finds the Argentine, who is completely unmarked on the halfway line. With every available Valencia player inside the Barcelona half of the pitch, he darts forward before going one-on-one with Alves. The goalkeeper does well to save his first strike, a deft chip from close range, but can't keep out the second, which is slotted calmly past him and into the bottom of the net.
