Paris Saint-Germain deny they are preparing a blockbuster move for Cristiano Ronaldo

Media reports over the weekend suggested the French club were planning a mammoth €150million bid for the Real Madrid man
Paris Saint-Germain have denied preparing a blockbuster end-of-season move forCristiano Ronaldo.
Reports in the Sunday Times this weekend claimed that the Ligue 1 Giants would be willing to splash out a world-record €150million to sign the Portuguese star, and improve his salary to some £285,000 per week after tax.
But sources at PSG have told Spanish sports daily AS that the claims are simply not true.
"It is totally false," a senior figure told the Madrid-based newspaper.
Relations between the clubs have been amicable, with the respective presidents negotiating deals for Carlo Ancelotti and Angel Di Maria in recent years.
And AS also claims that Real Madrid chief has an agreement with PSG owner Nasser El-Khelaifi to conduct all business face-to-face, rather than manoeuvring to sign each other's players.
Marco Verratti and Thiago Silva have both been Madrid targets in recent years but haven't been subject to the Spanish giants' sometimes rather muscular public pursuits.
