Footballer Marcus Rashford has moved his mum into a stunning new home in a leafy village.
The £800,000 house boasts six bedrooms, sumptious bathrooms and a sauna in the garden.
It is just three miles geographically but a million miles in reality from the council estate district of Wythenshawe in Manchester where he grew up.
The Manchester United striker - now earning £25,000 a week at the age of just 18 - always promised to look after single mum Melanie and his family who mean everything to him.
No-nonsense Melanie, who played football with her son when he was a kid, told the Sunday Mirror after he scored on his international debut with England : “Of course I’ll be doing my best to help him stay grounded.
“We are doing a great job as a family to keep his feet on the ground.
“We don’t do champagne and as you can see I’ve just come back from shopping.
“But we are certainly celebrating Marcus’ achievement.”
Marcus is paying £5000-a-month to rent the new home in upmarket Hale in Cheshire, home to many United and City players.
The family’s new home is a stunning modern six bed, four bathroomed detached property arranged over three floors with a hall, dining kitchen, sitting room, lounge, media room, wc, and utility room on the ground floor.
