Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd discover stunning twist in Sami Khedira chase

Turkish outfit Trabzonspor have emerged as the favourites to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

Sources in Turkey suggest the Super Lig side are preparing to offer the German international a massive contract in a bid to land him on a free transfer when his Real deal expires at the end of the season.
Despite Toni Kroos and Luka Modric being Carlo Ancelotti's first-choice central midfielders, Khedira appears willing to extend his contract with the Bernabeu club.
He said last month: "I'd be happy if we found a solution to the contract situation.
"I'm in good shape again and so I'm very confident that I'm going to get my chances to play very soon.
"I'm a fan of fierce competition."

Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are battling for Khedira's signature but they are unlikely to land him before Monday's transfer deadline.
The emergence of Francis Coquelin recently prompted Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to hint that he wouldn't move for Khedira.
After the 2-0 victory over Manchester City, he said: "Having to find solutions internally is a blessing.
